Engr. Gul Munir and Engr. Tooba Khan, Lecturers, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Salim Habib University, were invited to the Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology (KIET) for an event organized by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) on July 3, 2024.During the event, Engr. Mir Masood Rashid, Convener, PEC Pakistan Development Committee (PPDC) and Advisor to Chairman PEC, provided an insightful introduction to the PEC PPDC and its forward-thinking initiatives aimed at fostering engineering excellence and driving national development. The event also featured the formal handover of cheques for the 6 projects the PEC has decided to fund out of more than 20, and we are proud that Engr. Gul Munir and Engr. Tooba were amongst the honoured recipients of these cheques.We look forward to productive collaborations with the PEC and continued efforts in advancing the engineering landscape of Pakistan.
