Department of Pharmacy’s Visit to Kashif Iqbal Thalassemia Care Center

Our Pharmacy student club PharmDeeS and students of the Department of Pharmacy at SHU, accompanied by our esteemed faculty members Ms. Samreen Aziz and Ms. Memona Fatima, visited the Kashif Iqbal Thalassemia Care Center (KITCC) on Thursday, June 2.They donated blood, spent time with children who are patients of thalassemia, entertained them with fun activities, gave them goodie bags and presents, and made sure that these children had a day full of joy.Their visit, arranged in collaboration with Pharmacy Mentor Pakistan, also included an informative session conducted by Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, Chairman & Founder, KITCC.We are pleased to inform you that an arrangement is now being made with KITCC for the provision of a free thalassemia testing service for students and staff at SHU.SHU appreciates the efforts of its students in giving back to society and encourages them to continue to work for the betterment of humanity.
