International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day (IWD), observed annually on March 8, focuses on promoting women’s rights, eliminating discrimination and violence against women, and empowering women. IWD2024 calls for investing in women, bringing women into technology, and thus encouraging more creative solutions with greater potential for innovations that meet women’s needs and promote gender equality. The day also highlights the need for us to pay attention to pressing issues such as reproductive rights and violence and abuse against women, and to work to ensure that our world is a safe place for women, where they are honoured, loved, and respected.
