Biomedical Engineering Team Wins Runner Up Position at NASA Space Apps Challenge

We are immensely proud to announce that Team Halo of Stars, the team from the Biomedical Engineering (BME) Department at Salim Habib University that participated in the NASA Space Apps Challenge, a two-day hackathon organized globally by NASA that was held at Salim Habib University on October 1-2, 2022, has placed as Runner Up!The team, consisting of the highly talented Mr. Wasim Munir (Assistant Professor), Engr. Mahum Sabir (Research & Teaching Associate), Engr. Abdul Moiz (Research & Teaching Associate), and BME students Ms. Edina David, Ms. Fatima Siddiqui, and Ms. Fakhra Jalal, presented a brilliant idea on Exploring Venus Together: An efficient energy storage system for long duration missions that wowed the judges.They will now be participating in the NASA Space Apps Challenge at a national level. We wish them the best of luck and congratulate them for this huge achievement!
