IFLA

The Federation was one of the first international non-profit, non-governmental organizations aiming to further the cause of librarianship. Its primary function was to provide librarians throughout the world with a general forum for international contacts and exchange of ideas and experiences, principally in the field of bibliography.

ICA

The International Council on Archives (ICA) promotes the efficient and effective management and use of records, archives and data in all their formats and their preservation as the cultural and evidentiary heritage of humanity.

 

ILO

The International Labour Organization (ILO) is devoted to promoting social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights, pursuing its founding mission that social justice is essential to universal and lasting peace.


ANSI

the Institute provides a framework for fair standards development and quality conformity assessment systems and continually works to safeguard their integrity. And as a neutral venue for coordination of standards-based solutions, the Institute brings together private- and public-sector experts and stakeholders to initiate collaborative standardization activities that respond to national priorities.

WHO

The World Health Organization (WHO) is the United Nations specialized agency responsible for international public health, founded in 1948. It works with 194 member states to promote health, keep the world safe, and serve the vulnerable, with a focus on leading global responses to health emergencies, expanding universal health coverage, and promoting healthier lives.
