Tech Landing Services
To facilitate modern learning, research, and academic productivity, the library provides access to essential digital equipment including computer workstations, tablets, Kindle e-readers, and calculators. These services ensure students have reliable technology support for study, research, and coursework needs.
Borrowing Procedure
Users must present a valid university ID card at the circulation desk to borrow devices. All devices are issued after proper entry is made in the borrowing record to ensure accountability and tracking. Borrowers are responsible for carefully checking the device condition before leaving the library. Any existing damage or technical issue should be reported immediately to library staff. Failure to report issues at the time of borrowing may result in responsibility for the damage.s
Loan Duration
The standard borrowing period for devices is one (1) day only. Borrowers are required to return the device within the specified time to ensure fair and equal access for all students. Late returns may affect availability for other users and may result in temporary borrowing restrictions.
Users are encouraged to plan their usage accordingly and return devices promptly to the circulation desk.
Overdue Materials
Patrons are responsible for returning all late items. Failure to receive an overdue notice from the library does not exempt you from any lost fines/fees.
PKR 500 fine per day will be charged for late returns.
Repeated delays may lead to suspension of borrowing privileges.
Renewal Policy
Due to the limited supply of equipment, there are no renewals allowed. After an item is returned, patrons may checkout a similar item after 24 hours. Items must be returned by the due date.
