To facilitate modern learning, research, and academic productivity, the library provides access to essential digital equipment including computer workstations, tablets, Kindle e-readers, and calculators. These services ensure students have reliable technology support for study, research, and coursework needs.
Computer Workstations (In-Library Use)
Students may use workstations for:

✔ Accessing e-books, databases, and digital journals
✔ Preparing presentations, reports, or coursework
✔ General academic browsing
📌 Usage Guidelines:
- Available on a first-come, first-served basis
- Strictly for educational purposes
- No personal installations or unauthorized downloads allowed
- Please log out after use to protect your data
📱 Borrowable Devices
To further support students who may not have personal devices available, the library offers short-term borrowing of:
📲 Tablets – For research, e-reading, and coursework
📖 Kindle E-Readers – Preloaded with academic and general reading material
🧮 Calculators – Helpful for exams, coursework, and quick calculations
These devices are ideal for temporary academic use within or outside the library.
🪪 Borrowing Procedure
To borrow any device:
- Present a valid university ID card at the circulation desk
- Devices are issued after proper entry in the borrowing record
- Borrower must check the device condition before leaving
⏳ Loan Duration
- Standard borrowing period: One (1) day only
- Devices must be returned within the specified time to ensure equal access for all students.
⚠️ Late Return Policy
To maintain fairness and availability:
💰 PKR 500 fine per day will be charged for late returns.
📌 Repeated delays may lead to suspension of borrowing privileges.
✅ User Responsibilities
Students using or borrowing library equipment are expected to:
- Handle devices with care
- Return items in the same condition
- Avoid misuse or damage
- Report any technical issue immediately
